Angeethi

Another good restaurant in Hyderabad is Angeethi. It is situated in Banjara Hills, very near to Hyderabad city center. Angeethi is famous for its ambiance and of course, food. It serves very good North Indian food so if you are a punjabi like me, you are going to love this place.

Lets talk about its ambiance first. Angeethi has been designed in a very aesthetic manner, giving it a look and feel of a village at Punjab highway. In the middle of the restaurant, a Well is there along with the directions to different cities, connecting punjab highway. Whenever I go to this place, I never feel like sitting in hyderabad and it always reminds me of my road journey from Delhi to beautiful Punjab. Very nostalgic.

Next comes the most important thing, food. Food is delicious, specially non vegetarian. I always get a glimpse of North Indian touch in the food, in terms of flavors. Another thing to consider is the menu. It has been designed in a completely punjabi style, giving it a touch of Hindi and punjabi language with beautiful pictures of Punjab culture. Very creative. I am a vegetarian so my preferred food items are "Kadai Paneer" and "Lacha Parantha". I simply love it. I even like the hospitality of the people. They are really good at service.
